Many of my clients book their trips months in advance, and Rina and I give almost all of the tours ourselves, so we might not be available when you're in Rome

Here, then, is a list of other companies that get recommended periodically for their Vatican tours. I simply put them in alphabetical order, but I haven't sorted them in any way. Most of the companies have similar names and websites, so it's not easy to choose.

The only real determining factor is not the company, the years they've been in business, their licenses, degrees or anything else. What determines the quality of the tour is who the guide is, their preparation, style and flexibility.

Unfortunately, great tour guides sometimes work for lousy companies, and most well-ranked companies have a few crummy guides....
